Not Special Treatment,
Just equal treatment

Local franchise small businesses continue to grow at a faster pace than other businesses.
Franchising has created over 220,000 jobs in Missouri.
There are nearly 21,000 franchise establishments in Missouri that have contributed $17.2 Billion to the U.S. Economy

Kansas City Mayor Sly James' minimum wage proposal discriminates against Kansas City small business franchisees.

The Mayor's proposal will put many local franchise business owners out of business, unfairly harming the franchise business model that creates jobs and opportunities for millions of Americans.

Franchisees are locally owned small businesses and this ordinance would force them to implement the wage increase at a faster rate than non-franchised businesses.

Tell Mayor James to reconsider his proposed ordinance. Franchisees don't want special treatment, just equal treatment.
